Only a Wish

As a child and a young woman, I wanted to learn to play the piano. I took a few lessons and learned how to read music. But I didn’t do much more than that because I didn’t want to take the time to practice.

The picture of me above was taken in 1963. I was just pretending that I knew how to play. It was only a wish. You wouldn’t have wanted to be in the same room listening to me play.
