The train trip that Ginger and I took to LaDonna’s in July of 2007 was fun and exciting. Our train trip both ways was wonderful. We met a lot of very nice people on the train.
LaDonna is a great hostess. She has a lot of fun friends that she hangs out with and we enjoyed meeting some of them around a campfire. As you can see by the pictures, the weather was really nice while we were there.
The end of February, Cindy and Monique are going to get on a train and head south from MN. Ginger and I are hopping on a train and heading north. The four of us will meet up with each other in Chicago and take the same train together the rest of the way to PA to visit LaDonna. We are all very excited.
Instead of playing in the green grass around an outdoor campfire in Justin’s yard, the plan is to play indoors, having a tea party with LaDonna and her friends.
As you can see by the picture that LaDonna posted, we will probably see white scenery on this train trip instead of green.
Keith, I’m looking forward to reading what a parachute jump is like. Once you got out of the Army, did you ever jump again? Judy
