The attic
One of the unique features of the little house at 1234 Pease Court was the attic. How and when it became two bedrooms housing five children is a mystery to me. Suffice it to say I spent thirteen years of my life sleeping in the bedroom designated; boys. A steep and narrow flight of stairs led first to the girls bedroom, which had to be traversed in order to enter boys world. The rooms were small with beds tucked into the sloping roof, and had a slim aisle between beds. I doubt very much that even my industrious sisters can find a picture of those rooms as it is inconceivable that a photo was ever produced. Pillow fights and slipper wars were frequent and often elicited a negative response from our dad. Ron
