Life altering accidents
In 1967 during a horse race against my cousin Dennis Nunley my horse veered sharply to the right while I continued to go straight, my arm was broken severely upon impact with the ground. As a result I was out of work for six months. The consequences of that accident were far reaching and life altering. Early in 1973 six blocks from the show room while driving my just purchased brand new car, a drunk driver ran a red light smashing into the shiny new vehicle. With an injured back I was once again out of work for six months. Without a job to go back to I was forced to seek employment in the State of Washington. Ron
