Family

How wonderful to have contact with our Australian Truscott relatives. Because Grandpa Truscott died before any of us were even born, there is so much about that side of our family that we just don't know. Perhaps some of the family members from that part of the world will join us on this blog and share some about their lives. It would be fun to hear anything they know about our family history.

I just talked to Dad and he was so pleased to hear that we have had contact from Australia. He is amazed about what a small world we live in now with the Internet. He is anxious to hear of any news that we receive about his long lost relatives.

I remember not too many years ago, as we all sat around a campfire talking about where we would travel to if we had the opportunity and how many thought that Australia would be where they would want to go. I guess that country is buried deep in our blood.

And speaking of relatives---Dad & Dorothy are meeting Ben & Doreen for lunch today. It seems they are there in Oregon with Ben's brother Phil and his wife Mary. They are visiting with Edith Terry this morning. Some of you may remember Edith who was the organist at the Tabernacle.

How fun for Judy to be put back in touch with her pen pal from childhood.
