Walking In The Rain

This past weekend many of Kenny's relatives came to Greensburg for a family gathering. The original plan was to have a campfire at Justin's where we would cook all of our food and we would picnic all day. Well, the weather decided not to cooperate this weekend. It started raining about the time everyone arrived on Friday afternoon and continued to rain until they all pulled out of our driveway on Sunday evening. HA! We showed them, we had fun anyway. We had a pizza party here at my house on Friday evening and on Sat. all headed to Justin's where we set up tables and chairs in his garage. We put two large Easy Ups at the garage entrance where we were able to set Justin's big grill to do some cooking. We had a grand time reminiscing about "the good ole days" and watching as the little ones played and entertained us all. Emily was sharing with me about a photography class that she is taking and needed to load her camera with black & white film and get some interesting photos that she will develop at school today. She was concerned because of the rain and that she would not be able to get her assignment done. I told her not to worry, Grammy had a plan. I found a couple of umbrellas and off we went to the lake to see what we could find. Kenny's sister Doris decided to go along and take her digital camera and get some shots too. The pictures in this post are some that she took. I hope Emily's turn out as well but whether they do or not, it was a lovely adventure. We had the lake to ourselves as most people don't find a walk in the rain as much fun as we did. LaDonna
